After lazing about in my yard for the better part of the day, me and my fellow adventure-seeking friends ; decided to put on our “indiana jones “hats and set off to the mountain forest.
The journey was quiet, filled with beautiful distractions and mirages of our deepest darkest fantasies all ushering us to the majestic forest.
We met a nymph along the way, she was beautiful and passion radiated from her eyes, we exchanged niceties and bade her farewell. Hoping to see her on our way back.
As we embarked upon the quest. We were soon joined by a fellow warlock who led us enthusiastically to our chill spot. Where we set up Camp. After exchanging pleasantries and almost exchanging plans our ambiance was cut short.
Something was creeping in the bushes. My buddy the warlock gave one look and the look he sent me left an impression that confirmed the worst we feared had indeed come true.
The atmosphere suddenly changed, as the air became heavy and the bushes stirred,a strong musky smell reeked in the air. It could not be mistaken or compared to any other. To our left was a Bull elephant hiding discrepantly Charging at us at full speed. His ears were outstretched towards at us while he majestically blew his trumpet.
My humble colleagues took to our heels. As panic ensued between us and the jumbo as to who had the right of way. Turns out we had set camp right along his ancestral migration route. Turns out he wanted back every inch of his route. He Charged at us to reclaim his right of way which we had sat on directly and unknowingly.
In a wag of a ducks tail, we broke camp and fled like the Israelites during Passover, on short notice. Chaos ensued as every tom dick and harry scampered for their safety but in the eye of the storm i had to find my calm so i firmly gripped the camera, aimed, and Bam! … Bam! Thank me later for the amazingly dangerous shots.
To explain the feeling its exhilarating and exciting at the same. Time. Check the video below…
Never try this . at home. And after we got this golden clip. We happily whisked off with my boys laughing off. After all Indiana Jones had gotten his fair share of adventure. So til next time. Keep it natural and dont hurt the jumbos. Toodles FAM.
